I know that it is all collapsing
And that it might seem like it is all ending.
But what if in fact this was the onset of a bold new beginning?
A reset of sorts that has long been past overdue.
The dice have been thrown.
But the game has only just begun.
Things are not going as we thought.
But remember that the future is not yet written.
We get to write it.
Something always has to die.
For something else to truly be reborn.
We have to let go of the life we have known.
To truly inhabit a new space.
And let's be honest we hate that.
We fear the unknown, the uncertainty and the unstable that come with profound shifts.
Even where it has us shed the tired, outdated and worn out.
So that we can bring the freshness of new vision to our lives.
In the anaesthesia of the everyday
We have forgotten our power to decide.
To deconstruct, to shape, to mould
And the magic that comes with crafting anew.
Hypnotised by the glamour of performance
We have lost the courage
To live beyond our eternal quest for external validation.
And to risk our own heart for what really matters.
And that is what is ours to do now.
As the architecture of our old world gets dismantled bit by bit
Beyond the fear of the emptiness
Lies the whisper of a new dawn.
A clean slate from which to create new dreams
That is handed to each one of us
To draw the new world we want to see into being.
What will you be drawing on yours?
Until Next Time,
Louise
